A glowing crown
The Lamb Opens the Future
Revelation shows us some wild things that will happen before Jesus returns. In Revelation 6, the Lamb—the Lord Jesus—starts opening seals that reveal the future.
The first seal reveals a rider on a white horse, going out conquering. This crown isn’t a king’s crown like you imagine, but more like a gold medal—victory over the enemy.
To me, this rider is Jesus Himself, riding out with the gospel, undefeated and unstoppable.
Horses of Judgment
Then other horses appear—symbols of conflict, famine, death. But here’s the thing: these horses don’t just run wild.
They come with God’s permission, ordered from His throne. Remember, these events aren’t chaos without control.
They’re part of God’s plan, so knowing He’s ruling all this helps us avoid overwhelming fear and discouragement.
Reaching the Unreached
Here’s the hopeful part—the rider on the white horse must stay ahead, bringing the gospel to the world before tough times come.
I’ve seen amazing moments where the gospel breaks through, like when a large group in Africa prayed and we shared Christ and hundreds come to Christ.
An older man, a witch doctor, heard God’s love for the first time and was transformed on the spot.
That’s the power of the good news. We all need to ask: Are we available to reach those who haven’t heard?
A Prayer for Courage
Lord, You reign supreme. The future is in Your hands. Nothing happens without Your knowledge or permission. Help me keep this truth close when fear tries to creep in. Free me to share Your love boldly with those who need to hear it. Amen.
