Part 4: Living It Out—Let Love Lead the Way
Scripture: "…who also told us about your love in the Spirit." (Colossians 1:8)
Let’s Review What We’ve Learned
We’ve talked about:
Faithful friends like Epaphras who help us grow in Jesus
What it means to be truly “faithful” and serve others
How “love in the Spirit” changes our families and our churches
Why encouragement matters for everyone’s faith
Now…How Do We Live This Out?
Here are some simple ways to keep growing:
Look for Opportunities:Each day, ask, “Who can I encourage or pray for today?” Sometimes it’s a quick message, a smile, or a listening ear.
Grow in Love: When it’s hard to love or forgive, pause and ask the Holy Spirit to help you. God’s love is bigger than our own, and He loves to share it with us.
Celebrate Others: Notice how God is working in friends, family, or church.Tell them what you see—your encouragement might be just what they need.
Be Faithful in Small Things: You don’t have to do something huge.God uses every small act of kindness and faith, just like with Epaphras.
Let’s Journal Together
What did you learn from this series about faith, love, or encouragement?
Where do you need God’s enabling grace most right now—in loving, serving, or trusting?
Write down a simple action step: “Lord, enable me ______________ this week.”
Questions to Wonder About
How can our church or community be known for “love in the Spirit”?
Who could you invite to walk alongside you as you grow in Christ?
What’s one promise from God in these verses that gives you hope?
A Closing Prayer
Holy God, Thank You for teaching me through Epaphras and the Colossians. Let Your love come forth in my heart each day. Help me serve, encourage, and celebrate others. Let our lives and our church shine with Your love—one day at a time. Amen.
