I've got to level with you—I hate feeling weak.
No way. I'd much rather feel like I've got everything under control and can handle things.
But the Lord has been showing me lately that those weak places aren't something to hide or be ashamed of. They're exactly where His strength shows up strongest.
You see, Paul had this "thorn in the flesh"—some kind of ongoing pain that humbled him. He begged God three times to take it away.
God's answer?
"My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9 NLT).
Paul got it.
He started boasting—not in his strengths, but in his weaknesses—so Christ's power could rest on him. When he was weak, that's when he was truly strong.
Jesus Did the Same
Think about our Lord.
He didn't come as a mighty king riding in triumph. He came humble—born in a stable, lived quietly, served others.
And on the cross? Looked like total defeat.
But that's where God's greatest power broke through—saving the world. Weakness wasn't the end. It was the doorway to victory.
The Cracks Let the Light In
I've learned when I try to cover my weak spots, I'm missing the point. Those cracks are where His grace shines brightest.
Pride wants to patch them up.
Grace says, "Let Me fill them."
Your limits aren't failure—they're invitation. God's power loves moving in places we can't.
Lean In With Me
Next time weakness hits, don't fight it alone. Boast in it a little—let Christ's strength carry you.
He's more than enough.

In what ways did Jesus turn weakness into strength?
How can showing our weakness help others see Jesus more clearly?
What might God be wanting to teach you through your limitations right now?
Prayer: Father, thank You for meeting us in weakness. I choose to stop hiding and start trusting Your enabling grace. May Your power shine through our cracks. In Jesus' name, Amen.
