Chasing Lists—and Still Hungry

Years ago, I listened to pastors and teachers who shared lists like “5 ways to find peace” or “7 steps to strength.”
Their advice sounded good, but deep inside, something felt off. No matter how many steps I tried, I still ended up feeling empty.
My Big “Aha!” Moment
Everything changed when I read Watchman Nee’s book, “CHRIST: The Sum of All Spiritual Things.”
Suddenly, I saw it—Jesus isn’t just someone who gives out bits and pieces of truth. He IS the truth. I didn’t need more lists or secrets. I needed Him!
It was like I had been reaching for crumbs when Jesus was offering me the whole loaf. No more chasing after steps—I could just sit down and enjoy the Bread of Life Himself.
Peace and Strength in a Person
I gave up looking for special formulas. When I come to Jesus with my needs, I don’t get random “spiritual things.”
I get Jesus. Quietly, simply, He fills me up. He’s my peace. He’s my strength. He’s everything I really need. He's my all in all!
If You’re Tired of Lists
If you’ve been spinning your wheels, feeling tired, or like you’re never “doing it right”—you’re not alone.
Jesus isn’t asking for perfect steps. He’s right here, offering Himself. Come close, accept His presence, Christ in you the hope of glory.
